Reuse Railtown
This will be a hands-on model-making workshop inviting families and community members to explore, imagine, and shape the future of Railtown. Grounded in the neighborhood's strong sense of place, history, and heritage, the event will encourage participants to consider how communities can evolve sustainably through adaptation rather than replacement. Through infill, reuse, and creative "grafting" onto the existing urban fabric, attendees will explore ideas that celebrate Railtown's character while supporting future growth, circular design principles, and reduced material consumption.
Rather than starting from scratch, the event asks a simple question: How can we make the most of what we already have?
