Nishant Jain welcomes you to the Sneaky Art Studio for an interactive exhibit of secretly drawn art of the city. Immerse yourself in a multimedia experience of art hidden in public spaces. Find yourself — or someone you know! — among thousands of real people of Vancouver, drawn from real life. Flip through dozens of sketchbooks that share the beauty of our public spaces, city amenities, and how people coexist in urban environments.

Nishant will contextualize his work as a way to pay attention to our world. Referencing his own art journey, he will lead conversations about observing the public spaces we inhabit and share with other people everyday. Can a drawing habit nourish our curiosity? Can sketchbooks help rebuild our fractured attention spans?

Visitors will play with linocut blocks to compose their own art prints. Nishant will lead workshop sessions about drawing from life. Art will also be available for sale, plus free giveaways every hour.
