Vancouver Block

For two nights only, September 18 & 19, the Field Collective takes over the historic Vancouver Block for Here for Now, an immersive dinner exploring food, art, architecture, music, and time.

Guests will move through this remarkable 1912 building, encountering temporary architectural installations, artworks, and five food courses by Kade Philips, chef and founder of Pantalons PopUp. Each dish responds to the experience around it, while a DJ provides the soundtrack for the evening.

Three Vancouver visual artists will create a choose-your-own-adventure experience in which decisions influence where guests go, what they encounter, and what they eat. Along the way, installations designed and built by members of the Field Collective will offer glimpses of how architecture can transform a familiar place, even briefly.

Here for Now invites guests to think about how we experience time, how places become memories, and what it means to be somewhere for a moment that can't be repeated. As the evening progresses, guests will make their way upward toward one final, unexpected destination!

When this event is over, everything disappears but the clock keeps ticking.
