Join us on September 26 for a community Walking Tour celebrating local creativity, design, and neighbourhood connections.
Visitors will be invited to explore the neighbourhood through a curated walking route that showcases the local businesses, studios, and creative practices that contribute to the area's evolving identity. Participating businesses, including Paul Sangha Creative and Hapa Collaborative, will open their doors to share their work, offering visitors a unique opportunity to meet local designers, makers, and community partners while discovering the stories behind the neighbourhood.
As a highlight of the tour, the winning design from the PUBLIC SEAT competition will be officially unveiled. The installation demonstrates how thoughtful, small-scale design interventions can transform the public realm by creating welcoming places to pause, gather, and connect. Visitors will have the opportunity to experience the installation firsthand and learn about the design process from the winning team.
The tour will celebrate the creativity and collaboration that define the community while supporting local businesses and encouraging people to engage with the neighbourhood in a new way.
Whether you're a resident, worker, visitor, or design enthusiast, the September 26 Walking Tour offers an opportunity to discover local talent, celebrate innovative design, support neighbourhood businesses, and experience how thoughtful placemaking can strengthen community connections.
