Vancouver Art Gallery

Visit the Making Place and create your own hanging mobile inspired by the work of B.C. Binning—an artist, architect and designer featured in the exhibition Highlights from the Collection. Using coloured paper and other materials, experiment with balance, shape and colour, while exploring the principles of design to create a unique hanging sculpture to take home.

Head upstairs to Room 4East on the 4th Floor. Activities are led by the Gallery’s knowledgeable Art Educators, but there is no formal instruction.

The Making Place is open to all ages and is included with Gallery admission. Admission is always free for Gallery Members, Access Pass Holders and children and youth aged 18 and under. Children aged 12 and under must be accompanied by an adult.
