More than 40 architecture and design studios will open their doors during DVF 2026. Open Studios offers a rare opportunity to meet the people behind the work, see projects in progress, and learn more about the materials, processes, and decisions that shape our city.
Why Design Districts?
As Open Studios has grown, so has the challenge of visiting locations spread across Vancouver.
Design Districts group participating studios by neighbourhood, making it easier to visit several locations in one outing without racing from one side of the city to the other.
Studios will open across the Armoury District and Granville Island, Downtown and Gastown, Mount Pleasant, and other locations across Vancouver.
The result is a more walkable and organized experience for visitors, and a stronger sense of connection between studios working within the same neighbourhood.
