Design Vancouver Festival is made possible by the studios, partners, participants, and audiences who choose to show up.

With more than 90 events across Vancouver, this year’s festival shows what can happen when a design community comes together.

Built Through Participation

To every studio, speaker, artist, educator, organizer, and volunteer: thank you. By hosting tours, talks, exhibitions, workshops, dinners, and Open Studios, you are helping make design more visible and accessible. Together, we are showing the public that Vancouver is a design city.

Design is not only about how something looks. It is a way of thinking, questioning, problem-solving, and imagining new possibilities for the world around us.

Thank You to Our Partners

We are incredibly grateful to the sponsors and partners who helped bring this festival to life, including Wilson School of Design, DIALOG, Hapa Collaborative, Tomo, Addapt, Bocci, hcma, Leckie Studio Architecture + Design, MakerLabs, Revery Architecture, Tomorrow and When They Found Us. Many of our sponsors are also active participants, contributing ideas, programs, expertise, and energy to the festival.

We are especially grateful to the Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University for joining us as Festival Partner.

The Wilson School of Design at Kwantlen Polytechnic University is a leader in design education, offering eight unique design programs in a purpose-built campus in Richmond, British Columbia. The school offers degrees in Fashion & Technology, Graphic Design for Marketing, Interior Design and Product Design. In addition, it offers diplomas in Fashion Marketing, Front-End Development for Interactive Applications, a certificate in Foundations in Design, and a Post-Baccalaureate diploma in Technical Apparel Design.

At Wilson School of Design, students are encouraged to take creative risks and innovate through small, personalized classes, hands-on learning experiences, and access to state-of-the-artequipment. Supported by faculty who bring professional expertise and strong industry connections, students build valuable networks and gain real-world insights. By combining creativity, innovation, and practical application, they develop the skills, confidence, and experience needed to thrive in today’s creative industries and transform their passion into meaningful careers as the next generation of design leaders.

This is only the beginning.
Thank you for helping us build Vancouver’s design community.
